Taste of the Backcountry Historic Price House Come experience a “Taste of the Backcountry” - South Carolina as it was in the early 1800s at the Price House. We are pleased to invite you to join us for our annual festival, Taste of the Backcountry. This event features free evaluations of your historic items as well as demonstrations of hearth cooking, weaving, egg dyeing, live critters and guided tours of The Price House and slave cabin, as well as period music.
